The Cloverbud project is for kids who are 5-7 years old. This project is a non-competitive introduction to 4-H that enables younger kids to learn about the various 4-H projects. Cloverbuds cannot work directly with animals nor can they handle firearms, but they can learn about animals and gun safety. Other than that, their projects are limited only by their skill and imagination. Cloverbuds can exhibit for participation at the County Fair, but are not eligible to enter the State Fair.
