The Pueblo County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Programs.

Friday, January 26th from 2pm-3:30pm

Max: 20 people

Cost: $10  Register at https://tool.eventbrite.com  or pay with cash or check (payable to Pueblo County Extension Program Fund) at CSU Extension-Pueblo County, 701 Court St.

Participants will learn how to clean, sharpen, and refresh their garden tools. There will be a short presentation, a demonstration, and plenty of hands-on assisted time to clean up their personal tools with all needed cleaning and sharpening agents supplied by the Extension office.

Each participant is encouraged to bring in up to 3 tools to work on during the class.

Acceptable hand tools include snips, pruners, loppers, edgers, trowels, hoes, and spades.

Unacceptable: saws, electric tools, unwieldy/overly large or heavy tools
