The Cloverbud project is for kids who are 5-7 years old. This project is a non-competitive introduction to 4-H that focuses on age-appropriate activities and skill development. Cloverbuds cannot work directly with animals nor can they handle firearms, but they can learn about animals and firearm safety. Other than that, their projects are limited only by their skill and imagination. Cloverbuds can exhibit for participation at the County Fair, but are not eligible to enter the State Fair.
