4-H Contests

There are four activities that qualify for participation at the State level:
     *Cake Decorating
     *Creative Cooks
     *Public Presentation
     *Speech

Pueblo County has a Contest Day in April of each year for all four events. The winners in each age group (Junior, Intermediate, Senior) of the Cake Decorating, Creative Cooks, and Public Presentations (Demonstrations/Illustrated Talks and Interpretive Reading) qualify to compete at the State Fair, and Senior members who win the Speech Contest (Impromptu speech or prepared speech) qualify to compete at State Conference

Participants will register for Contest Day through 4-H online. 

And even though Cloverbuds cannot compete at the State level, we do encourage their participation in Contest Day.
