Just as the weather began to warm and we were all thinking of our gardens, the Pueblo County Master Gardeners had their annual information/education booth at this year’s Home Show, March 7 & 8 at the Ag Palace, State Fairgrounds.
Topics covered were: Microgreens, the Seed Library, Fruit and Vegetable Washing/Canning, Food Safety, Vermiculture, Raised Beds and Preserving Herbs. Also, plants for sale!
There was a wheel to spin for a prize and some activities for the kiddos: plant a seed to take home, make a fuzzy caterpillar or study a plant up close.
As always friendly Master Gardeners were on hand to answer gardening questions.
If you missed us this year, mark your calendar and watch for us next year, see you there and happy gardening!
