CSU Extension in Pueblo County is proud to announce our partnership with Colorado-based, non-profit Fresh Food Connect to call on gardeners in our community to share the harvest by growing and giving locally in Pueblo & Pueblo-West (+ other city/cities in your county).
CSU Extension’s Grow & Give Project
We are starting to see produce donations come in and would like to help you get the word out about Fresh Food Connect’s mobile phone app which make the process of registering and donating easier than ever. Because we’re in partnership with this app, you can choose to report online through Grow & Give or simply report directly through the Fresh Food Connect app.
Fresh Food Connect
We’re so enthusiastic about encouraging gardeners to give that we’re promoting an app-based way to find a place to donate and record donations through Fresh Food Connect’s simple app.
Who’s our local county partner?
We’re serious about keeping locally grown food in our community going to our neighbors in need. To accomplish this, we’re partnering with Care and Share in partnership with Pueblo Cooperative Care Center. Option to add more details about this operator/mission/location/hours accepting donations, etc.
Join us by simply downloading the app, register and check the Grow & Give box and start giving excess produce back to those in need in your community!
