The first meeting of the new 4-H year for the horse project will take place on October 1, 2018 at 6:30 PM at the Colorado Building at the fairgrounds.  We will be nominating new officers, forming a Horse Committee to review the rules for the 2019 Spring, Summer and County Fair, talk about a date for our annual awards dinner, discuss dates for 2019, and talk about 2018 Achievement Night.  Remember, each youth has to attend so many meetings to be eligible for year-end awards.  Start in the fall with our October and November meetings.  The meeting in November will be November 5th  IN THE 4-H DINING HALL (NOTE CHANGE OF BUILDING).  These are important meetings, so please plan to be there.  The official re-enrollment or enrollment date will begin on October 16, 2018.  If you have been in 4-H this past year, you must be re-enrolled by Monday, December 3rd.  Those that are new have until March 1st to get enrolled.  Enrollment for the year and any additions or deletions must be done by March 1st.  Let’s make 2019 a great year for our 4-H youth enrolled in the horse project!

PLEASE NOTE: All members enrolled in the horse project will need to purchase a new horse manual for 2018/19.  It has been rewritten and there are some important changes for the kids to have available. A price has not been set, but plan on it to cost around $10.00 ro $12.00
