Once every three years our Pueblo County 4-H Globetrotters travel group goes on an Excursion Trip, and we’ll be choosing our new delegation beginning next month! That means you could apply and join us on our next trip in June 2019!

The group will choose a place to travel to – anywhere in the world, typically for five to ten days – and they will spend one year fundraising for it. Fundraising includes working at concession stands and parking cars for events on the State Fairgrounds. We avoid door-to-door sales-type fundraisers. We want youth to learn life skills such as planning fundraisers, counting money, working as a team, leadership, etc. It’s a great way to gain work experience, make new friends, AND travel to somewhere incredible! Plus, we don’t want the trip to be a financial burden for our families, so that’s why we do so much fundraising.

Youth must finish the ninth grade by June 2019 in order to be eligible for this trip.

We also REALLY need chaperones!!! If you are a current 4-H volunteer, or you are willing to become a 4-H volunteer, please consider applying as a chaperone!

There is an application for youth and an application for chaperones, and we’ve made them available in either Word or .pdf format below. Use whichever is easiest for you to use:
Youth Application – .pdf
Youth Application – Word
Chaperone Application – .pdf
Chaperone Application – Word.

We’re doing applications a little differently this time around. We’re asking for the first batch to be turned in by Friday, June 15, 2018.
