Dog Project News
Are you looking for decorations for Halloween or Christmas? There will be a HUGE garage sale for the benefit of the youth enrolled in the dog project at a state level. The sale will be the weekend of October 6th and 7th on 21st Lane on the Mesa. Head east on Hwy. 50 past the Mesa Drive in, turn right on 21st Lane and you can’t miss the large house with a red roof on your left. Please see the flyer attached and please share on your social media pages. Great bargains and all money goes to the State 4-H Dog Program. If you can help, please call Donna Darnell at 250-8314.
We will have our fall Dog Committee Meeting on the 29th of October in the CSU Extension Office starting at 6:30 PM. All parents/leaders/youth are invited to these meetings to discuss the dog project in Pueblo County. We will be discussing any changes in rules on a state level, dates for dog shows for 2019. Carol has tentatively put in to reserve the Livestock Pavilion for the Pups and Hounds Show May 3rd and 4th, and June 1st as the Greenhorn Kickers show. We will discuss all of this at the October meeting.
