The Pueblo County Extension office provides assistance and programs for citizens in five main areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, Family and Consumer Science, Natural Resources and 4-H Youth Programs.

4-H New Member Deadline February 1, 2022

4-H learn by doing pueblo county 4-H four youth, 2 african american boys, a white girl, a white boy near an archery target4-H is the premiere youth development program in the US with almost 6 million youth enrolled Nationwide. Youth aged 5 to 18 learn life skills like public speaking, leadership, responsibility and civic engagement. 4-H Projects allow youth members to explore different learning areas such as Shooting Sports, Livestock, Cake Decorating, Robotics, Photography, Clothing Construction—and much, much more! By joining a 4-H Club, youth participants use hands-on learning under the guidance of caring volunteer leaders to develop into unique, resilient and life-long learners.

Youth enrolled in 4-H are 2X more likely to make healthier life choices, 2X more likely to participate in STEM activities outside of a school setting, and are 4 X more likely to contribute to their communities. 4-Hers really do “Make the Best Better!”

Enrollment for new members is NOW OPEN! Enrollment is $30 for members and $20 for Cloverbuds (members aged 5-7)
