Contest Day Registration Now Open

Contest Day will be held on Saturday, April 13, and Members and Cloverbuds can now register for the Pueblo County Contest Day. The State Performing Arts show has been cancelled, so there is no Performing Arts competition during contest day, and the Speech Contest has been combined with to Contest Day under the Public Presentations section (this includes Demonstrations & Illustrated Talks, and Interpretive Reading). There will be a workshop on Wednesday, March 27th for those youth who are entering the Public Presentations portion of Contest Day. It will be held at the Extension Office starting at 5:30 p.m.

A document containing screenshots of the event registration is here, and here are the rules/requirements/classes for the three contests. Our county contest follows the same rules as the State Fair contest.  You can find scoresheets for the contests on this page: http://co4h.colostate.edu/program-areas/state-fair-information/ (scroll down and look under the “Contest Details” section.

Here’s how to register: Login to your family 4HOnline account (https://colorado.4honline.com) and click the orange “Continue to Family” button.  Scroll down to the bottom of this screen and find the bottom box titled “Register a Member in an Event.”  Select the member’s name and then the event (“2019 Pueblo County Contest Day”).  Then click the “Register” button that appears below. Fill out all of the information for the contests you are entering.  Click through all of the annoying payment screens (there are several.)  At the very end you will get to a screen that says “Finish 2019 Pueblo County Contest Day” at the top and it will have a “Print Confirmation” button if you would like to use it.  There is no fee to enter the Pueblo County Contest Day events.
