Achievement Night is coming up! Tickets must be purchased by TUESDAY, October 24 at 5:00 PM from our office (cash or check only). We previously advertised this deadline as a day later, but our caterer needs our final numbers sooner. Sorry for any confusion. Remember, you do not need to buy a meal ticket to just attend the awards ceremony. However, the food is really good, so I do recommend it! 🙂
Also, we will NOT be doing a table decorating contest this year. However, still feel free to decorate your tables as much as you like! We just won’t be giving out any awards for it. We discussed this at the Parent Leader Group meeting at it was determined that it tends to be a bit stressful, and we don’t want to add any more pressure to an already busy day for our families.
We will still be doing DOOR PRIZES! We appreciate your donations of small toys, gifts, candles, goodies, trinkets, etc. New or gently used is perfectly acceptable! Just bring them with you to the event. We’ll organize them on a table in the back as we’ve done in year’s past.
All record books and report forms that were turned in to our office will be available for pickup at Achievement Night. If you won’t be there, please ask someone to get your book(s) and/or awards for you.
Remember, we’re starting a little earlier this year. Doors open at 5:00 PM, the dinner is at 5:30 PM and awards will begin at 6:00 PM.
If you are a registered 4-H volunteer, your banquet ticket for Achievement Night is on us – but you need to reserve it prior to the Oct 24 deadline! We appreciate your service. Just call our office to let us know that you are coming; we’ll have your ticket waiting for you.
